Today I'm working out again.  Hopefully this change in my regimen will help zap my metabolism again.  I'm SO JEALOUS!  My husband is now 10 pounds from his goal weight.  He looks amazing!  Since he's more than half-way JC has him doing a few days of meals on his own.  I imagine in only a few weeks he'll be on maintenance.  LOL, he's already planning for some cheating when he had me order Girl Scout Cookies from my little cousin the other day!  I'm sure he won't gain a pound from a few of them either - again, SO jealous!  But, if you have a body type like mine and looking at a cookie causes you to gain weight then my advice is not to go near those cookies.  I think men have a little more lenience to enjoy these kinds of things when they're on maintenance.  Some of you may be able to have a few and just workout to even things out but not me...I only pray my children do not have my awful metabolism.  Sometimes I get so negative and down on myself.  Just the other day when I went to lunch with the girls and ordered a plate full of veggies I watched as they ate cream-based soups, calamari, and hummus with fried pitas.  Amazing.  I can't even imagine what that's like.  I came home at 5 and had my JC lunch and then gained a pound and a half the next morning...maybe from not eating lunch earlier in the day and keeping my metabolism running.  SO ANNOYING. 

Please excuse me while I had a "poor me" moment.  Usually I accept my fate but sometimes I just get so irritated.  I guess today is one of those days.  Wink

JC Blueberry Pancakes and Sausage with 1/4 cup sugar-free syrup


1 cup fat-free organic milk

Snack -

JC Vanilla Crisp Anytime Bar

Lunch -

JC Beef and Barley Stew

Dinner -

JC Meatloaf and potatoes

Salad with peppers and mushrooms 2 tbsp light ranch

Snack -

JC S'mores bar
